Fashion designer Zac Posen, who is also a judge on Project Runway, has collaborated with MAC Cosmetics on a glamorous new collection that is expected to launch this month. It’s the designer’s first-ever makeup line.

The collection features MAC’s signature packaging with a sleek matte finish on compacts, palettes and more – but this time it is a deep, charcoal gray instea dif black, and has elegant gold accents. It looks timeless and classic, which reflects Posen’s design style.

Posen has said in the press that he has been working with MAC for his runway shows since he debuted his first collection in 2001. Posen said in a press release, “I wanted to keep it luxurious, a little mysterious, and clean with a large dose of star wattage.”

The chic ad campaign features model Guinevere Van Seenus, shown above right.

MAC’s James Gager commented, “It’s the perfect encapsulation of both of our worlds, with something sophisticated and sexy for every woman out there.”
